Special Projects: Kimera K39 x Capristo

The Kimera Automobili continues its superb legacy through the extraordinary Kimera K39 — a hyper-restomod born from racing heritage and engineered without compromise. Powered by Koenigsegg, audible symphony developed by Capristo.

The Kimera K39 is more than a tribute car. The K39 represents Kimera's most extreme, visceral vision yet. To complement the mechanical authenticity, audible presence is necessary to back its engineering prowess.

Engineered to Be Heard

Capristo’s approach to the K39 exhaust system was guided by the same principles that shaped the iconic sounds of classic rally and matches the Koenigsegg machinery: lightweight construction, unrestricted character, and a raw mechanical tone to complement the potent powerplant.

The resulting exhaust note is sharp, metallic, and unmistakably motorsport-inspired. Bespoke harmonics matched with aggressive acoustics and high-RPM resonance create a soundtrack that feels alive from idle to redline.

Continuing the Kimera Partnership

Capristo’s collaboration with Kimera Automobili began with the acclaimed EVO37 project where the exhaust system became a defining part of the car’s identity. The EVO37 earned global praise for combining modern engineering with the soul of 1980s rally icons, receiving Top Gear’s 2025 Performance Car of the Year recognition.

The K39 pushes that philosophy even further.

With the Koenigsegg's 1,000HP V8 powerplant, Capristo’s involvement ensures that the emotional side of the machine remains as important as the technical side. Sound is not an accessory - it's identity.
