Description
The Ferrari California CAPRISTO Twin Sound Valve Exhaust System is a stunning good looking system with an astounding sound quality. You will experience an increase in horsepower and sound due to a more efficient flow through the exhaust system (about 17 to 19hp).
The iconic CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System offers the best of both worlds through its capability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration, and a more subdued sound for city driving. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation the valves are closed and produce a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle the valves open, releasing the full symphony of the engine.
The opening or closing of the CAPRISTO valves are controlled by the engine ECU, therefore working in the same way that the original exhaust was designed to function. The OEM vacuum pipes fit directly into the CAPRISTO valve system.
Alternatively, you could fit the Capristo Standard Exhaust Remote Kit for the exhaust valves, which would provide the ability to open and close the valves at a touch of a button. In the closed condition control is returned to the engine ECU.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured utilizing advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at our factory in Germany. Each system is made of high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).
IMPORTANT
The exhaust system is designed to be installed directly into existing OEM mounting points.

I own a Ferrari California and decided it was time for the car to have the sound it deserves . I looked at many options and a call to Jordan Marra at Capristo in West Palm Beach Florida made the decision an easy one. Jordan invited me down to his shop for a meeting. I was introduced to some very experienced race and exotic car Techs . I decided to listen to there advice which was the Valved Exhaust System with the remote control gives you the best of both worlds. It will allow you to open the exhaust up for full sound and close it so you can drive through your neighborhood without setting off home alarms. The techs provided turn key installation which I needed because I am a computer guy . I picked my Ferrari up at the end of the day and could not stop driving it I mean WOW Super sound not only at 7000 RPM but also fantastic sound at 2000 RPM which happily surprised me. You do not have to be at high revs to get the sensation Finally as a former Funny Car owner I know all about sound.. I knew the Funny Car was doing well when the only word the crew said it the pit was WHAT ! I am so pleased with my Capristo System . I recommend it 100 %
