Exhaust Remote Kit (for Ferrari)

The Capristo on-board remote control kit gives you the option of opening your exhaust valves at the touch of a button. The kit is designed by Capristo for use with Capristo exhaust valves on systems equipped with pressure vacuum ports.

The kit controls exhaust back pressure to optimize engine torque across different operating conditions. High-performance engines typically benefit from low back pressure at high throttle and high RPM, while increased back pressure at low throttle and low RPM can improve low-end torque. Back pressure is regulated by butterfly valves in the exhaust system.

The control unit allows users to set valve opening and closing points within defined safety limits monitoring exhaust back pressure during operation and opens the valves when the preset pressure is reached. User has the ability to choose OEM or Capristo control as default without the need to select modes upon every start.

The key fob is pre-programmed. The included key fob operates at 444 MHz and has two additional buttons for programming. A fail-safe feature opens the valves in the event of an electrical or vacuum failure to prevent heat-related engine damage.

The wiring harness includes connectors for the solenoid valve and controller - only power and ground connections need to be completed for installation. The supplied wiring harness comes with a long and short reach cable option: 34" and 80". This is a plug and play product intended for ease of installation.
