Ferrari 355 Exhaust Bypass Valve Kit - 

This CAPRISTO exhaust bypass valve is engineered to correct known failures of the OEM valve, which commonly fails in the closed position causing excessive exhaust back pressure and heat damage to the engine and/or exhaust headers. In the event of a vacuum or electrical failure, the CAPRISTO valve is designed to default to the open position, relieving back pressure and protecting critical components.

The kit includes the valve, sealing rings, required vacuum tubing, and an electric solenoid valve. All components install in the original mounting location with no modifications required.

The system is fully compatible with the optional CAPRISTO valve controller (not included).

Installer note: Unlike the OEM valve, which uses vacuum to open, the CAPRISTO valve uses vacuum to close. The vehicle must generate at least 0.7–0.8 bar (10–12 psi) of vacuum to ensure proper valve operation. If this vacuum level is not achieved, all related vacuum lines and components should be inspected.
